The project of common interest “PCI project Danube InGrid” is an international project. It consists of the first wave, Action 10.7-0008-SKHU-WM-20, with a grant of EUR 102 million EUR, which currently is in the implementation phase, and the second wave, which concerns activities in the eastern part of Slovakia and in the south-eastern part of Hungary. The partners for the entire PCI project Danube InGrid are Slovenská elektrizačná prenosová sústava, a.s., E.ON Észak-dunántúli Áramhálózati Zrt., Západoslovenská distribučná, a.s., Východoslovenská distribučná, a.s., Elmű Hálózati Kft. and Émász Hálózati Kft.
The goal of the Danube InGrid PCI project (Danube Intelligent Grid) is the wider integration of renewables into the distribution system through the use of smart technologies and their intelligent management, while ensuring high quality and security of decentralized supply in the region of Central and Eastern Europe.
