Yearly and monthly available transmission capacity on SEPS/MAVIR profile is allocated within coordinated auctions of transmission capacity in the CEE region. The function of Auction Office for coordinated auctions is provided by CAO Central Allocation Office GmbH on behalf of all participating parties.
Day-ahead cross-border capacity rights are allocated through implicit allocation within the frame of quadrilateral CZ-SK-HU-RO Market coupling procedure. OKTE, a.s., is the Short Term Day-Ahead Market Operator in the Slovak Republic.
Organization of Short Term Daily Market is governed by the Operational Order of OKTE, a.s.
In case procedure of quadrilateral CZ-SK-HU-RO Market Coupling can not be evaluated for any reason, cross-border capacities on SEPS/MAVIR profile will be allocated by the means of fallback solution, i.e. explicit daily shadow auction provided by MAVIR according to the rules published here: www.mavir.hu/c/document_library/get...
Starting from November 19th 2014 trilateral Market Coupling CZ-SK-HU will be extended to the Romanian market area to form quadrilateral Market Coupling CZ-SK-HU-RO. Along with the start of quadrilateral Market Coupling CZ-SK-HU-RO updated daily shadow auction rules for allocation of cross-border capacity on SEPS/MAVIR profile enter into force. Updated daily shadow auction rules for allocation of cross-border capacity on SEPS/MAVIR profile are published on www.mavir.hu.
Intraday cross-border capacity rights are allocated using the first comes - first served principle. Transmission capacity allocator function is fulfilled by ČEPS.
