ENTSO-E has launched a web-based public consultation on the Forward Capacity Allocation Network Code (FCA NC) and invites all interested parties to submit comments
by 28 May 2013. ENTSO-E is also organising a public workshop on 8 May 2013 in Brussels to provide information about, and receive feedback on, the draft FCA Network Code.
As part of the web-based public consultation, ENTSO-E has issued a draft of the FCA Network Code and
a supporting document responding to frequently asked questions and
outlining how the draft network code fulfils the requirements of the Framework Guidelines on Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management for Electricity developed by the
Agency for the Coordination of Energy Regulators (ACER).
All comments on the draft FCA NC must be submitted via the ENTSO-E web consultation interface. Comments not submitted via this channel will not be considered as formal
comments in this consultation. Further information on the procedure to submit comments can be found here.
All comments will be published after the web-based consultation has ended on 28 May. ENTSO-E will review each comment and use them to form decisions, on
improving, refining and further developing the draft network code where appropriate. ENTSO-E’s assessment of all comments, as well as the final code submitted to ACER,
will be published by the end of September 2013 at the latest.
The Forward Capacity Allocation Network Code is being developed by ENTSO-E in accordance with the processes established in line with Regulation (EC) 714/2009.
