On November 28, 2003 the sole shareholder of Slovenská elektrizačná
prenosová sústava, joint stock company, has decided to execute changes in
its management. At present the company´s Board of Directors comprises of:.
 

Stefan Bugar – Chairman of the Board of Directors

He was born on 26 August 1955. He is a graduate of the Military Academy in Liptovský Mikuláš, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and also of the Military Academy in St. Peterburg.
From 1977 to 1993 he worked in the General Staff of the Army of the Czech and Slovak Republic, where he was in charge of the complex creation of signal corps of the Slovak Army.
He was a representative of Future Product Design company, a.s., Prag from 1993 to 1994. Thereafter between 1994 and 1999 he held a post of business manager in AT&T company (American Telephone & Telegraph Comp.) – Lucent Technologies.
In 1999 he was named Director of the Operation Section and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors in joint-stock company of Slovenské Telekomunikácie , then General Director and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and finally Vice-President and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. He led the great international company after a foreign partner joined it.
On 30 June 2003 he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Slovenská elektrizačná prenosová sústava, a.s. and became its General Director.

Vladimir Rigasz – Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors

He was born on July 24, 1967. He is a graduate of the Technical University in Košice, with a major in heavy-current electrotechnics. He also graduated from the George Washington University in Washington, DC, USA, with a major in economics. In the years 1990-1992 he worked as an analyst and later as an assistant manager of the Technical Director of the company Chemko Strážske. In 1993 he acted as a head of the Division of International Financial Institutions of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, later he worked as an acting Director of the Department of International Affairs. From 1994 to 2000 he worked for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, DC, USA, in a position of a technical assistant to Executive Director of the IMF. Since 2001 he worked as a consultant for macroeconomic analysis and prognosis and international finance in Bratislava.
On October 24, 2003 he was elected a Member of the Board of Directors of the joint-stock company Slovenská elektrizačná prenosová sústava and on November 6, 2003 he was appointed Managing Director of the Finance and Commerce Department. At present he holds the post of the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of SEPS, a. s.
 
 

Ivan Bajchy – Member of the Board of Directors

He was born on 26 January 1966. He is a graduate of the Faculty of National Economy of the University of Economics in Bratislava. He took a special internship in Československá obchodná banka in Prague. From 1990 to 2002 he worked in a joint-stock company Slovenská sporiteľňa, at first as an independent specialist, later as a leader of the financial controlling department. In 2002 he was the head of the economic department in Žemberovce agricultural business, consequently in 2003 he became a special advisor of a government member of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic. Later he became the main expert on methodology in the matter of the budget of the National bank of Slovakia in Bratislava.
On 28 November 2003 by the decision of the sole shareholder of the company, the National Property Fund of the Slovak Republic, he was elected Member of the Board of Directors of Slovenská elektrizačná prenosová sústava, a. s.
 

Frantisek Pecho – Member of the Board of Directors

He was born on 22 February 1952 in Bratislava. He graduated from the Slovak Technical University, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. After graduation he joined Slovenský energetický podnik, š.p., Bratislava. Later he worked in Západoslovenské energetické závody, š.p., Bratislava and then in joint-stock company Slovenské elektrárne, where he held a post of Director of the Department AZD and OD until he left to the company of Slovenská elektrizačná prenosová sústava, a. s.
Following the establishment of Slovenská elektrizačná prenosová sústava, a.s. he was appointed Managing Director for Investment.
 

Stanislav Hudcovsky – Member of the Board of Directors

He was born on 23 January 1944. He is a graduate of the Technical University of Košice, Faculty of Metallurgy and later he completed his postgraduate studies of welding at SVŠT in Bratislava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
From 1968 to 1975 he worked in Bohunice Nuclear Power Plants, concentrating on material quality assessment of the primary and secondary circuit of the plant. Since 1975 he acted as a head worker in EGÚ, Bratislava, where he focused on building and operation of the top power plant with aero engines, on operation reliability and working life of nuclear and thermal power plants´ components. He co-operated in the development of conceptions for Slovak energy sector and in the preparation of energetics legislation.
On 30 June 2003 he was elected Member of the Board and Directors of Slovenská elektrizačná prenosová sústava, a. s. and became Managing Director for Development and International Co-operation.
