Nomination on the the SK-UA profile

Scheduling is based on capacity rights allocated through a daily bilateral explicit auction organized by the JAO Allocation Office on the SK-UA profile. The platform for entering nominations of participants registered on the Slovak market is the Damas Energy system (Transmission Services module) of SEPS.

Nomination in case of Shadow Auction

In the event that the SDAC is unable to generate results within the rule-specified limit, the JAO Allocation Office will announce and coordinate a Shadow Auction, which is a back-up procedure for allocating cross-border capacity within the timeframe of the daily market. This is an explicit allocation in the form of Physical Transmission Rights (PTRs) of electricity. The platform for nominations of participants registered on the Slovak market to the Shadow Auction is the Damas Energy system (Transmission Services module) of SEPS.

The options available for uploading a nomination to the Damas Energy system are as follows:

  • Creation of nomination in the user interface
  • Upload of XML nomination through Time Series view
  • Sending of XML nomination to an e-mail address dae@sepsas.sk

After the set deadline for the receipt of nominations, cross-border matching with neighboring transmission system operators takes place. The Auction office is responsible for the correct execution of the cross-border matching processes.
