In the Podunajské Biskupice area, implementation works within the Danube InGrid project have been carried out, that are directly related to the construction of the new Vajnory substation and its connection to the transmission grid. As a part of the modernisation of Podunajské Biskupice substation, power transformer T402 was replaced with a new unit, which will increase the transformation capacity in this substation. This will enable not only the connection of a larger number of consumers and prosumers, but it will also contribute to the broader integration of renewable energy producers into the power system, while maintaining the high level of quality and security of electricity supply in the nodal area of the Bratislava Region. The part of the works in Danube InGrid project related to Podunajské Biskupice substation also includes the construction of a new bay, which will enable the connection of the new Vajnory substation to the transmission grid.
